A number of seminar subjects have been confirmed for the 2006/2007 CIBSE Professional Learning course programme.
The courses offer practical training to those new to building services and those who wish to further develop their competence and expertise. Key industry topics are covered as well as an ‘introduction to mechanical and electrical building services’ and ‘Tools for being a successful modern building services engineer’.
As demand grows for better, more energy efficient buildings, building services engineers are being called upon to exercise their skills at a higher level then ever before. CIBSE Professional Learning has developed a range of courses specifically designed to allow you to play a full role in meeting this growing demand. The training courses give access to knowledge on the core areas of building services engineering and can be accessed either as one-off courses or to form the basis for a full training and development plan for new designers.
Many of the courses are designed with CIBSE’s ‘Competence Criteria’ in mind. Attendance at a course is designed to provide the underpinning knowledge to allow you to develop your experience and thus make yourself eligible to apply for higher grades of membership.
Each seminar will run from this autumn to next summer in both London and Manchester.
