Anthony Richards, Managing Director of Arcoframe Ltd, based in St Helens, was named in the Queen's New Year Honours.

Apart from his role with Arcoframe, Anthony is Executive Chairman of The Millennium Centre in St Helens and receives the MBE in recognition of his work for the community of St Helens.

He was named Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2004 at Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards North region final. Anthony was also conferred as an Honorary Freeman of the Borough of St Helens to mark the town's Year 2000 celebrations.
