Maverick architect Will Alsop has designed a community arts and events space for Peckham, south London.

It was commissioned by Southwark council, Camberwell College of Arts and Chelsea College of Art and Design. Alsop is a visiting professor at the colleges’ parent body, the University of the Arts London, and designed Peckham Library. This new £340,000 project is funded by the Higher Education Innovation Fund It includes a “loo with a view”, which the colleges say will be “the most amazing lavatory in London”.
