Leeds based consultancy, Environmental Design Associates has won a Queen's Award for Enterprise in sustainable development.
The Award recognises the company's work in designing environmentally friendly buildings, and providing advice on sustainability to other organisations.
LEDA is a small consultancy, with only three full time directors: services engineer and energy consultant Matthew Hill; mechanical engineer James Haigh, and architect Jonathan Lindh.
LEDA promotes designs which reduce energy consumption in buildings.
The firm has worked on theatres, offices, workshops, and community centres.
