Clean energy company Blue-NG has appointed Land and Marine to build the first of two renewable power stations in London, in a contract worth £110m

The combined heat and power plant in Beckton, east London, will use sustainably grown, locally sourced rapeseed oil to provide power for 50,000 homes. It will be a new model of CHP, called combined heat and intelligent power (CHiP), which will track and match demand.
