Rehau has officially opened a new facility for its Building Solutions division in the London Building Centre.

The division, which encompasses Rehau PVC-U window systems as well as its underfloor heating and cable management business units, now has a fully equipped convenient London base from which to service customers in the specification sector.

Speaking at the opening, Martin Hitchin, Rehau’s Sales and Marketing Director, explained that the company has invested in the facility partly because it wants to maintain its visibility in this sector but also because it believes that a fully equipped and resourced city centre office is the most effective way to service the needs of London-based architects, specifiers, clients and consultants.

The office will be managed by Mike Moseley who is Major Projects Manager for Rehau’s Building Solutions division. With a team of sales and support staff, his role is to win specifications for Rehau and its fabricators on major commercial projects and particularly to exploit any cross selling opportunities which exist for products across the range.

Mike says of the opening:

‘A large number of key specifiers are based in London so we believe this office gives us the best opportunity to successfully reach them and build really valuable relationships. Rehau has always supported its commercial fabricators throughout the specification and installation process and this is another stage in that ongoing commitment.

‘The office also gives us the chance for the first time to show some of these specifiers all that Rehau has to offer. Those that know us just for PVC-U windows can now see how our quality and engineering expertise spans our entire building solutions range.’

The official opening was carried out by Martin Hitchin and Colin Henderson, Chief Executive of the Building Centre, and the event was attended by key clients and invited guests.
