Coming from a Construction Recruitment background, I really would question these figures.Having covered Blue and White Collar Construction recruitment for many years, across Contracting and Consulting, the market has taken a serious hit over the past 12 months, with both Temporary and Permanent positions disappearing by the day. In some cases, we have seen sitations changing by the hour.Undoubtedly the Jobs Market has taken a hit, and we are now seeing the downturn hit the Middle East and Australia. I do wonder how the powers that be can back up these comments when we have protests over foreign Labour, QS' available by the bucket load and empty sites around the Country.
