A new company has been formed to provide services, training, manpower and equipment in the emergency rescue arena.
First Intervention Training (FIT) has been set up by five professionals following the closure of the Shell Haven Refinery. Using their knowledge and expertise in the fields of health and safety, fire, medical and security, the company has already gained a client list of blue chip businesses including Ford, Shell, BP, and the new Tate Gallery.
The company is led by managing director, Terry Hayes, and delivers courses in manned guarding, emergency medical fire safety awareness, confined space rescue and first aid at work.
