Rapidly-growing manned security contractor St James Security has won a raft of major new retail security contracts with clients including WH Smith, Sir James McAlpine (building contractor for The Walk in Edinburgh) and Debenhams.
The WH Smith project entails the provision of store detectives and retail positions to cover stores across Lancashire, Yorkshire and Humberside (bringing to 18 the number of WH Smith outlets protected by the company in northern England and Scotland).

The Walk is the first major new shopping development in Edinburgh for several years, and is predicted to become one of the most exclusive retailing centres in the UK.

St James Security has won the contract to provide street patrols and basic premises protection.
