Gardiner Technology was on the verge of being sold to the Risco Group of Israel, as Security Installer went to press.
Risco, which owns Rokonet UK, will continue to run the companies independently.
A statement from Risco said: "Our position in the US, Far East and Europe will allow Gardiner Technology to accomplish greater penetration into other markets."
Risco also owns Homex building/home networking solutions, SeeTV CCTV systems and SpotFire fire alarm systems.
