The Dubai office of the UK-based architectural firm RMJM has appointed Raymond Crane as managing director of Engineering.

Crane joins RMJM from the Abu Dhabi office of Arup where he played a lead role in the structure of landmark projects such as the Dubai Towers, Kingdom Center in Riyadh, and the Al Mashtal Development in Abu Dhabi.

The company said that Crane’s focus will be to develop a "more culturally diverse workforce" to match the needs of clients across the region.

RMJM Dubai’s office employs over 170 professionals in structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines and specialist services in advanced geometric analysis, environmental engineering, and a unique integrated project delivery strategy.
