Places for People will meet the National Housing Federation to discuss the Housing's Better Future rebranding project before paying its levy to join the scheme, Housing Today understands.
The NHF increased its membership fee 15% to cover the rebranding scheme.
David Power, head of policy and strategy for Places for People, said it was not withholding the levy. He said the group had concerns about its role in the rebrand but agreed with the aim of promoting RSLs as neighbourhood service providers.
