Dalkia says its new BMS improves efficiency by using less electricity.

Sony, a new user of the system at its UK Technology Centre in Pencoed, reported a 50% reduction in air-handling running costs – a saving of over 1,000,000kwh per year. The BMS covers boilers, heating, heat distribution pumps, hot and cold water systems, air-handling, extractor fans, lighting, fire alarms and gas supply controls. It can be programmed to meet both the temperatures required for production, and the comfort and safety of staff and visitors.
