Sainsbury's has chosen CSL's DualCom as its preferred dual signalling device to send confirmed alarms.
National Security Manager (Distribution) Pete Wilkins explained: "Sainsbury's has been progressive in its compliance with the ACPO Policy. We have invested heavily in confirmation technology and will be fitting DualCom signalling in all our stores and petrol stations."

DualCom was introduced in 1996 and is currently protecting tens of thousands of UK commercial premises. It uses both telephone and radio paths to transmit alarm signals within a matter of seconds. In the event of accidental or deliberate damage to either path, DualCom will use the functioning path to continue transmissions.

This enables an alarm system to send subsequent signals after a line cut, thus ensuring an intruder or personal attack alarm can be confirmed.
