Salford regeneration: The Churchill Way area of Salford, Greater Manchester, is set for a facelift in a major regeneration project.

Five internationally renowned consortia of architecture and regeneration experts have been shortlisted for the second stage of a competition to draw up a vision and strategic framework for the area.

The five are led by Alsop BIG, Arup Consulting, Locum Destination Consulting and Dutch firms KCAP and S333 Architecture + Urbanism.
