Sapa Building Systems has been awarded a BS4873 Kitemark for its Dualframe dual-colour window system.
BS 4873 specifies materials, construction, finishes and hardware as well as the weathertightness performance for aluminium windows.
The Kitemark forms an essential and increasingly important element of Sapa’s overall product offer given the company’s continuing growth in the local authority housing, education and private sector residential apartment project markets where BS4873 is frequently built into the performance specification.
Jon Palethorpe, Sales & Marketing Director for Sapa: ‘Our investment in designing products that meet industry standards and following this through with formal Kitemark assessment helps to ensure that our customers are able to fully meet the demands of the market and gives specifiers confidence in specifying our products as well’.
