On-site installation costs at a London University library were halved by use of custom-designed computer cubicles.
Weidmuller’s Moduflex heavy-duty connectors were used to connect the pre-wired cubicles to mains power in under five minutes per unit; this would traditionally take 10-15 minutes.

The Weidmuller products comprise plug-together male or female modules with clip-on cable strain relief/module removers. The modules accept crimp-terminated cables, holding them securely and letting them be quickly plugged together in a coupling frame. A total of 1100 cubicles were used in groups of 12.
