A joint management initiative by Security Design Centre and its sister company REMAS has won a major maintenance contract with support services and infrastructure specialist the Amey group.

Amey recently secured a five-year £200 million contract extension with QinetiQ, the global defence and security organisation, to provide total facilities management services to 30 of QinetiQ’s UK sites.

In partnership with the Amey Group, SDC will provide QinetiQ with its Key Customer Service package for servicing and maintenance of on-site security CCTV and access control systems.

SDC marketing director Michael Paul said: “Our Key Customer Service initiative offers users 24/7 security peace of mind. Everything is detailed in advance, with easy to understand maintenance timetables, replacement schedules and recommendations on upgrades.”
