The National Security Inspectorate was given the opportunity to hold a week long display at the House of Commons recently, aimed at raising MPs' awareness of the NSI's activities.
At the launch event for the exhibition Paul Goggins, Minister of State at the Home Office, said: "Consultation with the industry is a key objective for me. I intend to engage even more widely with industry bodies, including NSI, in order to ensure that the industry provides the very best standards to the public." Also speaking at the launch event was Theresa May, the NSI's local MP for Maidenhead.
The display included wallet-sized cards for MPs with NSI contact details for question they or their constituents have about security companies.
