LIBERTY IS ONE OF THE UK’S BEST known brands for high quality fashion and fabrics. However, like many other retailers, the company is prone to stock ‘shrinkage’.

Until now, the difficulty in tagging garments has always been the weight of the hard tags, which could often pull items out of shape or damage the fine fabrics of delicate items.

The company’s security management team has been working with Unisto’s retail sector specialist Mona Simpson to develop the BrandSecure tagging product. The lightweight tags are compatible with Liberty’s existing security system, so there were no additional hardware costs. They can also be produced in specific colours and with client branding (as has been the case at Liberty).
