Selecta Systems is gearing up to ‘advance’ its 70mm suite by gaining vital accreditation for the product. The Birmingham extrusions company is working towards gaining the Kitemark Registration BS EN 12608:2003 for Advance 70 in what is seen as an important step. The BSI registered symbol will be a testament to Selecta’s commitment to quality and a further endorsement of the 70mm suite.
Selecta has held accreditation for its Quality Management System for the past 12 years and completed the changeover from ISO9002 to the newer ISO9001: 2000 registration last year. The company also made the switch to BSI in August so that they could go for the Kitemark Registration for Advance 70.
‘This accreditation for Advance 70 is important to the future business success and development of the company,’ commented Mark Walker, Health and Safety/Quality Advisor at Selecta Systems.
The five chamber Advance 70 suite boasts low U values and hi-flow drainage, and is described as quick and easy to install because of the single leg knock-in beads and the co-extruded gaskets.
Selecta’s range of suites also includes the 8000 system (60mm), 8000 system (70mm) window and door system – holiday home and superslider – patio kits.
