SES has achieved £200,000 of savings from value engineering at a pharmaceutical facility
Shepherd Engineering Services (SES) demonstrated a value engineering cost saving of £200,000 to secure the £2.5 million M&E services contract at Lundbeck Pharmaceutical's new primary production facility at Seal Sands, Middlesbrough.
The fast track design and install package is now complete. Three-dimensional cad was employed to design the layout of the building services around the process production systems – one of the most challenging aspects of the project.
The production facility forms part of a multi-million pound investment programme at the site.
The project manager was Foster Wheeler Energy; Tilbury Douglas was main contractor on the scheme.
