Independent security technology consultant SGW Associates has been selected by Queen Mary college, University of London, to consult on the development and integration of CCTV systems across its three main campus locations.
The college has over 10,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, with an academic and support staff of around 2600. The consultancy contract will see SGW provide a complete appraisal and dilapidation report of CCTV technology currently deployed across the college.
The project will include detailed design of a new control room, communications infrastructure, integration to third party systems and CCTV network. Following the management of the tender process, SGW will provide technical project management and witness testing on behalf of the college.
SGW Associates principal consultant Simon Whitehouse said: "We are extremely pleased to have been entrusted with such a large scale CCTV project which further demonstrates our progression in becoming one of the UK's leading security technology consulting practices."
