The IP User Group, a technology forum dedicated to sharing members' knowledge of IP, has been set up by the company which launched the IIPSEC show.
The aim of the new group is to help educate, inform and enlighten the security, communication and IT markets regarding the use of TCP/IP in security, remote monitoring and building management applications.

"The growth in IT network related products working on a common Ethernet TCP/IP standard has seen fundamental changes in the IT communications and security markets over the past couple of years," explained Paul Hennings, Director of IP Security Events and Media, and the driving force behind the IP User Group. "With the group we will bring together – for the first time – all interested parties under one roof, with a mission to be the catalyst behind the adoption and use of this exciting new technology."

Membership of the IP User Group is open to manufacturers, re-sellers, solution providers, third party support services, end users and individuals with an interest in the subject of security applications over IP networks. For further details call 01983 403693.
