Sheerframe PVC door outerframes for composite doors from L B Plastics have achieved a 30 minute fire door rating to BS476: Part 22.

The first system of its kind to reach the standard without additional components or changes in fabrication, the company says this allows PVC outerframes to be used safely in applications such as main doors to apartment blocks.
