Window maker Asset Manufacturing Ltd has teamed up with Sheerframe to develop the range of windows, doors and curtain walling that it offers to the social housing and commercial sectors.

The move by Asset follows the acquisition of the Thetford-based company by the A&B Group.

The company, which employs around 120 people in manufacturing and installation, switched to Sheerframe following a detailed market study of the technical and service merits of UK systems suppliers.

Director of commercial sales Mike Gaskell, hopes that the financial strength of the A&B Group will combine with Asset’s service reputation and Sheerframe’s design and product specification to make Asset ‘a leading force’ in the social housing sector.
