Staged as the main event in Shepley’s calendar year, the 2005 Shepley Masters took place at the prestigious De Vere Belfry hotel in the Midlands in September.

The day saw 150 customers and staff competing alongside each other at golf and outdoor activities.

For non-golfers, delegates were put through their paces with a range of outdoor activities, including the traditional shooting and crossbows, and the more unusual hovercraft racing, falconry (see Shepley customer Dawn Littlewood - pictured above right) and human table football. However, the most talked about activity was the ‘big challenge’ which saw delegates racing through an inflatable assault course.

Throughout the day, photo’s of each four-ball were taken and all golfers received a spoof Golf Monthly cover as their own memento of the day.
