Sherborne may have designed its showsite at Windlesham, Surrey, to show the different ways one of its conservatories might be used but it hadn’t reckoned on an upmarket hairdressing salon until celebrity hairdresser Phil Smith turned up.

Four times nominee for the British Hairdresser of the Year, a regular on TV and the youngest ever member inducted into the Hairdressing Hall of Fame, Phil’s visit was to cut the hair of lucky winners of a competition sponsored by Sherborne. His clients include Emma B, Sting and Trudi Styler and the winners were delighted to receive not only a new look but also a goody bag of bY Phil Smith products.
