The Sherpa system from TECSEC Europe enables a camera to operate in areas not normally covered by CCTV within minutes of unpacking.

Video Domain for MemoCam a "complete standalone digital CTV system in a PIR enclosure" which, on activation, records images on a removable memory card which can be played back on a PC.
Neurodynamics for Tridentity, a facial recognition system focussing on three dimensions as opposed to the usual two.
Network Video Technologies UK for high quality real time video/audio over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable (being Bench Tested in Security Installer next month):
Visonic for PowerMax, a single, convenient wireless system offering "total control and security for the home".
Digital Sprite Llite, a high performance digital multiplex recorder in an easy to use and install package (Bench Tested in Security Installer October 2000).
Presenting the awards, David Fletcher Chief Executive of the British Security Industry Association said the awards were unique in recognising high quality designs and manufacturing. The winners represented the future of the security industry.
