Shipshape: The “play ship” Bounty was unveiled on Weston seafront in Southampton this week.
An £18,000 government regeneration grant was used to build it after local people had requested more play facilities for younger children, including Danny Nutbeem (left), Olivia Raison (centre) and Tia Nutbeem (right).
The ship contains ropes and climbing equipment, which enable children, aged three and above, to practise their pirating skills.
