Siemon has launched LockIT, a line of secure RJ45 network accessories

Featuring a tamper-proof outlet lock and lockable patch cord, this system protects against unauthorised port access in unused outlets as well as deterring patch cord removal.

LockIT outlet locks and patch cords require no special connectivity and can be used to secure nearly any RJ45-based network infrastructure.

The system is designed to provide physical layer security without adding complexity or impacting overall functionality and density of a system.
