Dow Corning has developed and tested its 993 Structural Silicone Sealant specifically for use in structural glazing within explosion resistant windows and Ultraflex, and effective window protection system.

993 has been independently tested in explosive conditions and results proved conclusively that the sealant is easily capable of retaining glass within its frame without the need for clamping plates, says Dow Corning.

The Motorola HQ in Swindon, BA’s landmark business centre near Heathrow and the Harbour Exchange complex on London’s Isle of Dogs are among the high profile products to feature 993.
