SITO, the Security Industry Training Organisation, has made a number of new appointments to meet its target of becoming the world's largest provider of multimedia-based training materials for the security industry.

Since it won its bid for European funding of £1.3m to develop multimedia training, IT staffing levels have increased substantially.

Rachel Davies has been appointed European Projects Administrator in SITO's Business Development department with the aim of helping develop "not only national standards for the security industry but international ones as well."

Alistair Knowles has been appointed Senior Software Designer working on "high-quality interactive materials that will benefit all sectors of the industry as well as increasing access and take-up."

Pawandip Marwaha is appointed programmer working on a number of projects in the IT environment.

Charlotte Blach is the new Territory Manager for the North of England, part of a network of territory managers that will cover the whole of the UK.

Bill Daniels has been appointed Senior Training Advisor, whose training subjects will include SITO's Train the Trainers course along with Basic Job Training courses and others.
