Football fans should enjoy even better tv coverage in future as Southern Electric Contracting (SEC) has won a major contract to install audio, video and power systems at FA Premier League grounds.
The contract was awarded by outside broadcast company TTL Video on behalf of Sky Sports. Almost 20 km of cabling will be installed at each ground, including audio multicore, single audio, triax, video and power cables. This will be connected to an outside broadcast box at the ground entrance, which will contain all the power, audio and visual inlets.

The systems are intended to provide permanent cabling for Sky Sports cameras and microphones at live outside broadcasts, reducing the cost and set-up time for cabling live matches.

Installation at Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane ground has seen Sky's pre-match preparation fall by two days.
