Slice of life: Planning permission has been granted for this £10m, mixed-use scheme for Community Housing Association in Hackney, east London. The 70-flat development will be built on a site previously occupied by dilapidated timber warehouses. All the homes will be affordable. The scheme was designed by architect Jestico & Whiles.
