Smart Poly from Tec-Sun is described as a system that’s more effective than blinds, lets in more light, and needs no maintenance. This polycarbonate has integral, dual-reflective metallised polyester solar protectors from CP Films that prevent up to 80 per cent of the sun’s solar energy from entering the conservatory through the roof. Clear blue daylight is visible during the day, while the roof becomes opaque at night, bouncing light back into the conservatory to give a more room-like feel.

Smart Poly is based on 16mm and 25mm Brett Martin polycarbonate with specially designed profiles of highly reflective polyester solar laminates from CP Films.
