We're heading north of the border now, stopping off at the home of Scottish rugby – Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium – on Tuesday 11 June. As ever, we are limiting the event to a comfortable number of stands. Thus end users and installers can come along and spend a morning, an afternoon or an early evening on the way to or from work expanding their security horizons by talking to the major players in the manufacturing sector.
We deliberately set out to make the Roadshows user-friendly. In-house professionals are not only able to chat to their security equipment suppliers and talk about forthcoming projects, they can also take a look at the latest systems in the flesh – including new developments in the arenas of CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.
End users will be particularly keen to learn that CCTV specialist Loronix is helping to make their trip to the Roadshows an educational experience: the company is staging two specially-arranged seminars explaining how to make the transition from analogue to state-of-the-art digital recording.
The Murrayfield Roadshow runs in The Thistle Suite from 10.00 am through to 6.00 pm, and both admission and parking are free.
The full address of the venue is: Murrayfield RFU Stadium, The Thistle Suite, West Stand, Entrance B, Roseburn Street, Murrayfield, Edinburgh EH12 5PJ.
Confirmed exhibitors thus far include: Conway Security Products, Gallagher Security, Geoquip, GPS, Group 4 Systems, JVC, Loronix, MR Access, the National Security Inspectorate, PAC International, Pulnix, the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board, TDSI, Third Millennium and TSSI.
For further details about tickets and attending the show call Nick Rastall on 020 7560 4118 (alternatively, send an e-mail: nick_rastall@buildergroup.co.uk)
Both the Security Management Today and Security Installer editorial teams will be at the show. We'd be delighted to see you there, and catch up on what's happening in the industry over a glass or two.
