I am a social housing tenant, living in a tiny flat that should really, by today’s standards, be considered a slum.
My landlord, a well-known housing association, is inept, complacent and forever expanding.
How I dream of owning my own home. This is taken for granted by so many and yet people like me can only look on. Television is saturated and almost obsessed by make-over and property-purchase programmes. Clearly, TV executives do not have an imagination.
I am one of the many socially excluded. We do not have a voice and we do not own our homes. Damn you Tony Blair, John Prescott and Keith Hill.
