Glass South America, the largest trade event for the glass, window and hardware industry in Latin America, has its sixth outing in May. The 2006 show takes place from May 4-6 at the Transamerica Expo Center, São Paulo, Brazil.

Described as the greatest opportunity to meet with thousands of sales prospects in the region, Glass South America has lived up to its billing by delivered more visitors with each edition since the launch show in 1997. 12,580 were at the last event in 2004.

Glass South America 2006 will be divided in two sectors: Glass South America Technology - machinery, tools, and accessories for glass processing, and other related products distributors and glass retailers. Glass South America Design will showcase glass applications for the building, automotive and furniture industries.

A pavilion aimed to architects and specifiers will be showing architectural glass, door and window hardware, films, shower enclosures and more. International exhibitors include Albat+Wirsam, Bavelloni, Bottero, Bystronic, Chemetall, Dorma, Guardian, North Glass and Tamglass.
