DR Services has launched the Sparta Pivot door set.
Unlike other pivot door systems on the market, it does not require any cut-outs to be preformed in the glass door leaf.
Instead, security set screws are employed to clamp the two semi-cylindrical sections either side of the glass, forming a slimline, 50 mm diameter section when in place.
Sparta will support either 8 mm or 10 mm thick toughened glass door leafs up to 900 mm wide and can of course be used to install double doorsets. The maximum allowable leaf weight is 100 kg.
Available with a matt or polished chrome finish, the Sparta Pivot door set is straightforward to install. A 30 mm deep socket is drilled into the floor, the base fitting/ floorspring unit is secured into this recess while a pin and bush secure the top end.
With glass leaf or pair of doors in place, tension on the floorsprings can be set.
