Panther Security has installed a CCTV system at Colchester United's Layer Road ground to improve crowd control as part of its safety and security measures.
The system has been paid for, in part, by a grant from the Football Trust.
The cameras have been chosen for their ability to keep a close eye on the crowd. They can turn almost a full 360 degrees in milliseconds while remaining in focus, and will enable operators to zoom in on troublemakers and select images of their faces displayed in detail for police use.
The club's commercial manager, Jerry Carter (second from left) said: "Safety and security are vital during a match and our new CCTV system will enable us to operate efficiently and professionally."
