Emergency lighting in John Lewis's Bracknell computer centre has new support.
To protect against mains failure, 300 Alcad Vantage VN476-1 low maintenance, rechargeable batteries have been installed to provide standby power.
The batteries will automatically power an Emergi-Lite 60 kVA/42 kW three-phase static converter. This is turn will power over 380 dual-fed emergency luminaires in the five-storey building for a minimum of three hours.
