Young people in Birmingham painted murals on the sides of houses in the Handsworth area of the city on Saturday. Local MPs Khalid Mahmood and Sion Simon unveiled the murals painted as part of the Community Arts Project Initiative, supported by Castle Vale Housing Action Trust. The initiative was set up to encourage young people from Castle Vale to work with teenagers in Handsworth, Lozells, Aston and Newtown.
