Automatic doors manufactured, supplied and installed by Structura UK Ltd, form part of the recently refurbished ground and first floors of Perceval House, Ealing Council’s 5-storey headquarters building.

In a phased-programme of works, new entrances have been created for the general public, council staff and goods. The main entrance consists of four sets of automatic sliding doors with slimline aluminium profiles offering high levels of acoustic and draught-proofing performance. Two sets of exterior, double-glazed doors are set within a structural glazed system and open into a lobby area, and two sets of interior sliding doors lead visitors into the reception area.

The staff entrance has had its existing two revolving doors replaced by Structura with four automatic sliding doors incorporating slim-style aluminium profiles. Structura, a sub-contractor to Galliford Try, is also carrying out refurbishment works to two atria, replacing cracked glass and face-caps, and refurbishing over 600 windows. The architect is Pringle Brandon LLP.
