Swedish electricians are less likely to commit suicide than their fellow countrymen, according to a study.
Swedish researchers have cast doubt onto US findings that power company workers were more likely than other workers to take their own lives.

The research centres on whether or not strong electromagnetic fields increased the risk of suicide.

Scandinavian news agency TT reports: "The Swedish study showed the contrary, that the risk of suicide among electricians is clearly lower than for a group of construction workers and Swedish men in general." Good news in these dark winter months.
