Sweet home chicago: Cartwright Pickard Architects, designer of Murray Grove and Yorkshire Housing's Sixth Avenue apartments in York, is to work with a Chicago-based developer on a new brand of modular flats. Full details of the three schemes, one of which is pictured right, have yet to be revealed, but up to 50 affordable flats will be built on three sites.

Cartwright Pickard and B+C Architects have just won a Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment competition to design affordable housing for a site in West London.
