Turner & Townsend has been appointed as cost manager for the new £65m Museum of Liverpool.

The scheme will be located between Albert Dock and Pier Head, next to the Three Graces and will document the social history of the city. A contractor for the scheme is due to be appointed at the start of next year and work is due to start in June.

The project is designed by Danish firm 3XN.
