Warby succeeds Clodagh Moriarty who stands down on 31 August

Taylor Wimpey has appointed Sarah Warby as a non-executive director.

The £3.4bn housebuilder announced the appointment of Warby to succeed Clodagh Moriarty who stands down on 31 August.

Warby is the chief customer officer at fast food restaurant chain Nando’s and has previously held positions including chief marketing officer at supermarket giant Sainsbury’s and chief executive of sex products firm Lovehoney.

Robert Noel, chair of Taylor Wimpey, said: “Sarah’s deep customer, digital and brand experience will be a great asset and will ensure that the board continues to hold the most appropriate balance of skills and expertise, and we look forward to working with her.”
