Work started last month on an extension of the University of Manchester’s chemistry laboratory.

The extension, which will provide 3000 m2 of floor space, will take 16 months to construct at a cost of around £13m. It is being managed by a team of which includes Farrell and Clark architects, Buro 4 project managers, Keelagher Okey Klein planning supervisors, and Halcrow Group building service engineers. White Young Green is providing the design services.
