Measurement of external earth fault loop impedance (Ze)
Measurement of external earth fault loop impedance (Ze) is carried out with the main switch in the off position and earthing conductor temporarily disconnected (reconnect earth before restoring supply). Either a two-lead instrument or a three-lead device can be used.Source
